Dr. Whitney Meissner, with over 30 years of expertise as a professional public educator, speaker, and facilitator, specializes in the intricacies of feedback, professional conversations, and employee performance/growth. Alongside her, Heather Flanagan brings over two decades of experience, excelling as an executive coach and business consultant. Together, they seamlessly integrate their diverse backgrounds, passion for inclusivity, and commitment to purposeful leadership, creating a powerhouse team dedicated to fostering supportive and inclusive work experiences for all.

Whitney Meissner, EdD

Dr. Whitney Meissner has been a professional public educator, speaker, and facilitator for over 30 years. She has supported the State of Washington Teacher and Principal Evaluation Project since its inception and is highly skilled in the areas of feedback, professional conversations, and employee performance/growth. She continues to develop her equity stance to strengthen supportive and inclusive work experiences for all.

Whitney has worked in school districts ranging in size from 600 to 31,000. She understands the nuances of all sizes of organizations, as well as what it means to walk and work in purpose and intentionality. Her work with you will always start with a connection conversation to understand deeply the purposes and outcomes you are imagining.

Born in Seattle, Whitney is a life-long resident of Washington and loves living in King County. She recognizes the traditional lands of the Coast Salish peoples and honors those who have been here since time immemorial. After graduation from Sedro-Woolley High School, Whitney attended the University of Washington where she earned her BA in English with a math minor. She went on to earn an M.Ed. from Central Washington University, and an Ed.D. from Seattle Pacific University. She is currently working toward her Coaching Certification through Co-Active Training Institute.

She is a very proud mother of two adult children and loves her role as auntie and bonus grammy to some very special young ones.

Heather Flanagan, MBA

Heather Flanagan is a seasoned executive coach, business consultant, and visionary leader with over two decades of experience. As the founder of Flanagan Leadership Group, LLC, based in Seattle and the Greater Salish Sea region, Heather has passionately guided individuals in leadership positions and empowered creative entrepreneurs through tailored executive coaching and engaging group sessions. Her expertise extends to providing strategic guidance for non-profits, small businesses, and sole entrepreneurs, enhancing internal operations, customer experience, and team effectiveness.

With a commitment to fostering inclusivity and equality, Heather founded Transortium, a non-profit corporation dedicated to overcoming barriers to transgender equality. During her three-year tenure as CEO/Founder, she successfully engaged corporate partners, established a robust board of directors, and garnered widespread support for the organization’s mission. Heather’s impact extended beyond the non-profit sector when she served as the Director of Marketing & Communications at Intellicheck Mobilisa. Her strategic prowess played a pivotal role in achieving the company’s most profitable quarter and securing over $6 million in investor funding.

Heather’s journey encompasses a rich and diverse professional background, including roles as the Vice President of Sales at Intellicheck Mobilisa, Regional Sales Manager at Ramco Innovations, and Outside Sales Application Engineer at Keyence Corporation. Her stellar track record includes being recognized as the “Number One Salesman in the United States” and consistently ranking among the top 10 salespeople nationally. Heather holds an Executive MBA from Seattle University, where her leadership legacy project focused on ensuring transgender equality through employment services for youth.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Heather is deeply involved in volunteering for her children’s activities, advocating for social justice causes, and contributing to community events. Her diverse interests range from virtual reality, robotics, and engineering to Ham Radio (KG7POE), Chinese language and culture, neuroscience, and music—playing bass guitar, flute, and keyboard. Heather is a staunch supporter of neurodiversity awareness, LGBTQ equality, and the principles of Buddhism and Taoism. With a relentless commitment to authenticity and a passion for making a positive impact, Heather Flanagan stands as a beacon of inspiration in the realms of leadership, equality, and personal development.
